The Healing Cream

Great help in treating skin damaged through burns and radiation therapy

This formula has been developed by HHH3 to increase the speed of healing and to restore normal barrier function in particular patients undergoing radiation treatment.

An inevitable part of radiation treatment/burns is skin damage. Depending on the surface involved, the formation of free radicals, subsequent tissue damage and inflammation can mildly to severely interfere with a patients’ normal daily activities. This damage can also increase the chance of secondary infections developing.

Care of skin damaged through radiation or general burns requires more than just plain moisturisation – this cream achieves amazing results in record time to restore the skin’s natural cell proliferation.

The active ingredients in the cream are:

  • Marigold extract – has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial properties
  • Allantoin – main active ingredient in Comfrey extract. Increases the water content of the extracellular matrix, enhances the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells and promotes cell proliferation, wound healing, soothing, is anti-irritant and has a skin protectant effect.
  • Niacinamide ( Vitamin B3) - stimulates new collagen synthesis, upregulates biosynthesis of epidermal skin lipids.
  • Vitamin E - antioxidant that protects the cells against free radicals. It is an effective moisturising agent and improves elasticity and smoothness of the skin.
  • Vitamin A – stimulates cell proliferation, improves the barrier function of the skin, improves skin elasticity.
  • Panthenol (Vitamin B5) – has deep moisturising effect, stimulates epithelisation, has anti- inflammatory and wound healing effect.
  • COQ10 – a molecule involved in cellular energy production and potent antioxidant capable of regenerating other antioxidants such as Vitamin E and C.
  • Olive Oil – natural emollient, moisturises and adds smoothness and softness to dry scaly skin.
  • Aloe Vera – has soothing, healing, calming properties due to its anti-inflammatory , antimicrobial, antioxidant, antipruritic effect.

This cream can be used on any damaged skin – cuts, burns, wounds to enhance rapid skin healing.
